Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and clean with a magnificent view of the Potala Palace as part of the hotel's Horizon Club offer, plus access to the Horizon Lounge. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff who were very accommodating, and even though there was limited service staff present at times, they still went out of their way to assist us. The location was excellent, offering a quiet retreat from the bustling nearby shops and a comparable experience to the St Regis hotel. The dining experience was fantastic with a wide range of delicious foods to choose from, making it one of the best buffets I've had. Overall, a great value for money hotel with exceptional amenities and services.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms are furnished in a Tibetan style, really clean, and spacious, offering a great size for the executive suite. The service, helmed by the very capable GM, Ms. Claudia Lee, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location is superb, close to key attractions like the Potala palace and the Jokhang temple. The dining experience was exceptional with a wide variety catering to both Eastern and Western preferences.
I had a nice, quiet stay at the hotel, with a side view of the Potala Palace from my comfortable room with a great heating system that helped with altitude sickness. The service was exceptional, as one staff member even accompanied my friend to the local hospital and stayed with him throughout his treatment. The location was convenient, close to the Potala Palace, Jokhang temple, and Barkhour old town area, but it felt a bit isolated from interesting shops or restaurants nearby. The dining experience offered selections for both Eastern and Western palates in the buffet. Overall, a good value for the money.
I was pleasantly surprised by the room with a view of Potala Palace, though it was a bit smaller than I expected. The illumination of the palace in the evenings added a magical touch to the stay. The long walk from the elevators to the rooms could be tiring, but the amenities in the room made up for it.
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel, enjoying the quiet rooms that are comparable to JW Marriott, with a great bed and all the expected amenities. However, the small oxygen canisters were not operational during my visit.
